CBD Oil in Your Belly Button?
No, it’s not pouring a bottle of CBD oil in your belly button…
This ancient technique is called the Pechoti intake method.
This technique is called the Pechoti intake method. According to Ayurvedic text, it’s said that the Pechoti gland is located behind the belly button. When a woman is pregnant, this is where nutrients are carried between mother and baby. At the end of the umbilical cord lies the Pechoti gland, and it remains there long after birth. It is believed that every human has a Pechoti gland and it is connected to more than 70 million nerves, tissues, and organs throughout the body. Yes, 70 MILLION!
Ayurvedic Medicine
In cultures that practice Ayurvedic medicine, applying oils through the belly button via the Pechoti gland is thought to address many different physical and mental ailments. By applying cannabis oil to the belly button, the Pechoti gland is a natural delivery method that allows cannabinoids to cover the entire body. While more research is needed to understand this, this is unlike any other delivery method. Rasayana Ayurvedic was the goal for many who practiced early ayurvedic medicine. This term is refers to the science of increasing one’s lifespan. It is believed that taking oil through the Pechoti gland may help treat various diseases and conditions faster.
Limited Knowledge And Research
Unfortunately, you won’t find much more information on this subject as there is not enough research on this topic. Decades of demonizing cannabis have limited our knowledge of traditional consumption methods.
Most people I know have no idea about this consumption method. It is, however, widely utilized in other countries around the globe. This method of using cannabis may not be popular, but according to Ayurvda, it could offer many benefits not provided through other consumption methods.
Have you tried the Pachoti method? Would you put CBD oil in your belly button?
